The Florentine bar is the refuge for an odd cast of drifters, drop outs and drinkers living in a small, rusted-out steel town. However, the bar's affable owner Whitey (Madsen) finds little comfort there as the bar's profitability decreases. To make matters worse, Whitey's sister Molly's (Virginia Madsen) wedding is jeopardized when Whitey's friend Frankie (Perry) loses all the money set-aside for their wedding to a lowlife con man (Belushi). To complicate matters further, Molly's ex-boyfriend Teddy (Sizemore), who left her at the alter several years back, returns to town. |
