The Michael Madsen International Fan Club (MMIFC) is the Official  Fan Club
  dedicated to celebrating and promoting the career of  Michael Madsen.

A little over two years ago I was searching the web for information on Michael and his career.  I spent hours searching various sites and came up with very little information.  I thought to myself how nice it would be to have all the information you would ever want to know about Michael could be found in one place.  From this thought the Michael Madsen Mania Site was born.  It was my intention to spare other fans the same frustrating experience I had endured.  I was amazed by the response of fellow fans and realized that there was a desire on the part of Michael's fans to have a place to gather and discuss Michael's work and that they were hungry for new information regarding Michael's career projects. It occurred to me that a fan club was what was needed.

This fan club is being established because you, the fans, wanted it.    Where we go from here is up to you.  Its success or demise will depend entirely on the amount of fan involvement or lack thereof. We are truly fortunate to have the backing and support of Michael, his family and his organization. 

This fan club will evolve and continue to grow over the next several months and hopefully will serve the needs of all of Michael's fans.  Members are encouraged to actively participate by submitting articles, responding to surveys and suggestions for improving and/or expanding the features offered by the fan club are always welcome.

I would like to take this opportunity to thank the fans who have been with me since the start and who have supported and encouraged me along the way.   I would also like to thank Elaine Madsen, Michael's mother, for her support and assistance in making this dream a reality.   Finally, I would like to thank Michael for his support and involvement  Your talent on screen is surpassed only by your kindness and generosity off screen.
